Impact Evénement, the rental company located in Longjumeau, France, has added some 330 new-generation Ayrton fixtures to its rental stock: every model of the R-Series effects fixtures, Wash/Beam fixtures of the Nandobeam range and also MagicPanel 602s.
Part of the new Ayrton stock arrived early in January, with rental managed by Zoltan Teleki (left, sales engineer), Guillaume Géranton (center, business manager) and Olivier Muffat (right, rental manager). Why don’t you see 330 fixtures? The others are already out on hire!
“This acquisition is in response to the great demand for dry hire of Ayrton material, which we were not able to meet with our previous stock because it is frequently out on our own full-service work. Therefore, we decided to invest heavily in new Ayrton products,” says Guillaume Géranton, business manager for Impact Rental.
“These products are impossible to find for hire in large quantities; their success is global as lighting designers from around the world have fallen in love with them, notably those who work for some big American stars on world tours. The demand for these comes from French and European contractors, and today we are happy to be able to satisfy these requests in quantity.
“And this is only the beginning of our investment for 2015. We have a plan to complete our Ayrton stock with a number of fixtures and also to bring products of other brands into our rental stock.
“This year, we are reaping the deferred benefits of lower investments in 2013, which have provided us with very significant resources for 2015. We will therefore be able to meet increasing demand.”
