Martin’s first static LED Fresnel, the Manet 8f features a brand-new source control technology. With the Manet 8f, Martin delivers a genuine technological breakthrough in the world of LED Fresnel fixtures, combining high luminous output, outstanding color accuracy, and unprecedented source control.
The Manet 8f joins the ranks of the ELP family (fixed LED sources) as the brand’s very first static Fresnel, significantly raising the technical standards within this product range. At the heart of this new fixture is a powerful 500 W multispectral LED engine using an RGB mix complemented by amber, lime, and cyan LEDs.
It features the ColorBoost control technology already proven in the latest version of the Sceptron, allowing each color to be driven across the entire available power range. In practical terms, each primary color of the source can be individually driven up to the full 500 W.
This technical choice, combined with carefully selected primary wavelengths, ensures exceptional flexibility in luminous output, delivering more than 13,000 lumens, an extended white color temperature range (from 1,850 K to 12,500 K), and above all near perfect CRI and TLCI ratings of 98.
We met with Joel Azilinon (directeur technique lumière) et Jérôme Garnier, (Lighting Market Manager) at Algam Enterprise, for a closer look at this new product.

The combined use of a COB source, a latest-generation Fresnel lens specially designed to reduce reflections, and barndoors (supplied as standard) are all assets that optimize the use of every photon emitted by the fixture. Another key strength is its low-level dimming performance, making light transitions as smooth as possible.

Additional features include NFC assignment via the Martin app (among other things, allowing users to define a startup light state while the fixture is powered off), an “ultra-quiet” operating mode that is virtually imperceptible at less than 19 dB, a manual 9°–50° zoom, all housed in a compact enclosure under 50 cm in size and weighing less than 15 kg.

These are strong promises that will undoubtedly appeal to the broadcast and film industries, as well as theatre and live events. The Martin ELP Manet 8f is now available for purchase.
