Scalable 48-channel power distribution unit with advanced protection, system monitoring, relay-controlled switching and GPIO interface, the XR48 offers the capacity required for safe touring applications.
We meet with Alain René Lantelme, Deputy Managing Director of Axente, who presents the latest innovations from this Swedish manufacturer.
The XR48, with its 48 circuits (supported by the XR24), is the major new product in StageSmarts’s power distribution range. Its design follows the same philosophy as its big sister, the C72, developed for touring and featuring the latest monitoring innovations. As such, all channels are equipped with a unique system for remote management and visualization of signals in terms of load and leakage currents.
Its new control capabilities, its ability to manage low currents, and its advanced relay-type switching functions allow it to operate comfortably in all touring, broadcast, or LED screen power supply configurations.
The XR48 can also be controlled via Art-Net and sACN, as well as through HMI, which while already a familiar term in the lighting world is the name of the remote control software for this range of power distribution racks.
