grandMA3 onPC DMX-key & onPC DMX-key starter
These small devices are designed for setups requiring a compact yet powerful control solution, such as clubs, cruise ships, TV studios, houses of worship, as well as architectural and museum lighting, stadiums, or theme parks where budget and simplicity are key factors.
The grandMA3 onPC DMX-key unlocks 4,096 DMX channels simply via a standard USB-C connection to your computer running the free grandMA3 onPC software. This provides an easy and cost-effective way to access the grandMA3 onPC platform for users who do not require a physical control interface such as a Command Wing or more complex infrastructures.
The tool is plug-and-play and requires no configuration or network setup. Two DMX outputs allow connection to the lighting fixtures, and a rear mounting rail makes it easy to attach to any installation rig. Following this, MA Lighting is also introducing a second product: the onPC DMX-key starter.
It offers an ideal entry point to unlock 1,024 parameters via two XLR5 DMX outputs and access the full feature set of the grandMA3 onPC software. Perfect for anyone looking to discover lighting control.
Both products will be available from February 2026,
The new grandMA3 v2.4 software version previewed

The new grandMA3 v2.4 release was previewed at ISE and the improvements it includes focus on the following areas:
– The integration of Phasers into Recipes and a new contextual graphical interface inspired by the “SMART” view for increased efficiency. This includes the new nSHOT function to choose the number of Phaser repetitions, as well as backward, forward, and alternate functions to quickly change Phaser directions.
– A new “Shape” pool, allowing users to create and use predefined curves within Phasers.
– Universal Preset management. Presets can now be saved with an intended scope: universal, global, or selective, meaning it is now possible to create universal presets for any attribute.
– MVR import now integrates the PSR menu and allows users to select which elements they want to import.
– The Preview function has been significantly improved with a clearer and more ergonomic graphical interface.
– The ability to connect a mobile phone to a console to access the internet and download libraries from FixtureShare: https://fixtureshare.malighting.com
