The new Veloce Wash during its preview at ISE in Barcelona.

The new Ultimate range is complete. The range starts with the Rivale Profile (a success!), which sold more than 10,000 units worldwide in 1 year, and its Wash version, the more powerful Veloce Profile, launched at the end of 2024, is logically the subject of a Wash version.
It is presented here by Briony Berning and Cyril Union, who return to the new laser source Mamba and its software that allows the definition of beam attenuation zones until turning itself off to protect the eyes of spectators.
This software, originally developed for the American market, is integrated into all Ayrton fixtures with a laser source.

This fixture has most of the functions initially integrated into the Profile. And in our case the example is obvious since the fixture has exactly the same dimensions and almost the same weight (39 kg compared to 40 for the Profile).
The clear lens gives way to a beautiful lens with concentric rings very dear to a certain Augustin Fresnel but carefully reworked to ensure its compatibility with the internal framing shutter/blades.
The light source remains the same, namely a powerful 850W LED white light engine at 6500 Kelvins for 40,000 lumens of flux (sphere). The CMY progressive colour-mixing system uses the same discs as the Veloce Profile and there are ten rotating gobos expertly selected to animate and shape the beam.

Speaking of framing, the Veloce Wash integrates a framing module. It also integrates a new function called “Screen Filter” to balance the light if the beam hits several scenic elements located at different distances, for example, a side draping and the stage floor, to avoid a brighter point on one of the two. This filter is mounted on a rotating support, and depending on its indexing, it balances the beam more or less.

Note the holes around the lens into which accessories can be clipped and the retractable handle at the top of the arm of the yoke.

The zoom that equips the Veloce Wash gains a few degrees of aperture, here from 4° to 57° compared to 4° to 52° for the sharp-edged beam version. Like the Profile, the fixture features continuous pan/tilt rotation and is rated IP65.
It also sports two additional sturdy handles at the top of the arms of the yoke, which are much appreciated when handling the fixture. The Veloce Wash, previewed at ISE 2025, is currently in production. It should be available soon.
