ETC SolaPix Fan 8: spreading beams and effects

SolaPix Fan 8 is the latest addition to the High End Systems range. With its 8 cells arranged in an arc, it differs from the classic concept of the motorized bar by producing a range of perfectly distinct Beams that blend into a wash thanks to its zoom of 4.5°-60°.

Its 8 x 40W RGBW sources are identical to those of the SolaPix 7 and 19. Their outline is illuminated by work on the optics to create the holographic effect. Independent source control combines with the FleX effects engine for fast, easy-to-access macros.

ETC adds new features like infinite pan rotation to create new dynamic effects on stage. The unique fan shape of the SolaPix Fan 8 allows you to create clean, low-flying beams and elegant washes.

The SolaPix range has since its launch redefined expectations in terms of pixel Wash fixtures: RGBW color mixing, an adjustable color temperature between 2,800 and 8,000 K and a zoom of 4.5° to 60°, all complemented by ETC’s patented pixel definition technology: HaloGraphic.

Matt Stoner, Head of Automated Fixtures, explains: “The Fan 8 further expands the possibilities of the SolaPix range. Whether on tour or in clubs, we know professionals will find many ways to use this fixture.”

Tania Lesage, Market Manager at ETC, adds, “The SolaPix Fan 8 demonstrates ETC’s commitment to developing high-quality lighting solutions for professionals in live events. As with all our fixtures, the SolaPix Fan 8 benefits from 24/7 support and a 2-year warranty for the fixture and 5 years for the LED panel.”
