The nu metal band, KoЯn, embarks on a tour of mainland Europe with a set that features Ayrton MagicPanel™-R fixtures as the focal point of the Thomas ‘Church’ Christmann’s lighting design.

Ayrton is delighted to announce the appointment of Vari Internacional, S.A. as its new exclusive distributor for Mexico. The agreement formalized at the recent sound: check Xpo show in Mexico City, takes place with immediate effect.

Internationally renowned lighting designer and director of photography Jerry Appelt specified the new Claypaky Scenius Unico as the main stage workhorse fixture for his richly composed lighting design for this year’s Eurovision Song Contest, hosted at the International Exhibition Centre, Kyiv, Ukraine. The creative agency ACTLD of light and visual design based in Brussels, imagined a light & sound show in an unusual place - a construction site on the banks of the canal in Brussels. During four evenings of "Bright Brussels Festival" and far from the sites and monuments well known to the general public, ACTLD’s designers were able to offer a new creation and a memorable experience to nearly 30,000 visitors.

With the Axcor Profile 900, Claypaky has launched a new course in its design research: it is the first Claypaky spotlight to use a LED light source, instead of a traditional discharge lamp. Claypaky has chosen to use a white LED engine with high luminous efficiency, total power of 900 watts and luminous flux of 24,000 lumen output, and couple it with a system of dichroic filters to create the colors.
