After the liquidation of Chromlech, Elidy is reborn with Ereimul Lighting
On May 18, 2015, Bastian Villeflose was finally able to recover the proprietary rights to his Elidy fixture, the first LED array capable of projecting images in mid-air. The manufacture of Elidy has resumed, this time by the company Ereimul Lighting which now also provides service for all Chromlech products. It took six months to get everything in order and rebuild a stock of Elidy. The adventure in Brittany continues, with more projects on their way. Yesss!

Nexo mourns Matthias Larrieu

For 26 years, owner Pim de Rhoodes struggled to find a system that could deliver a deep bass on the dancefloor yet enable customers to talk comfortably at the bar – and, importantly, not upset the venue’s neighbours.
Robe DL7S Profile, moving-head spotlight with 7-color LED source
With its source composed of seven base colors of LED and its profiling module, Robin DL7S aims for perfection in colors, pastels, saturated colors and whites, with a nominal CRI of >90, regardless of the white balance. An 18-bit dimmer allows extremely fine control at low levels – it is between 0 and 10% that makes all the difference.
The French lighting designer Laurent Chapot creates Ayrton’s demo show
Ayrton doubles up its imagination to create unique effects fixtures: CosmoPix-R, a moving-yoke globe with 12 punchy beams, MagicDot-R, a small, mono-source fixture, the motorized video panel DreamPanel Shift, its counterpart DreamPanel Twin, with a video face and a lighting face, and the NandoSpot-SC, which marks the entry of the French manufacturer into the next generation of LED spot fixtures.
JB Lighting Licon 2X, a complete and intuitive lighting console
JB Lighting presents the Licon 2X lighting console. Developed primarily for live applications, it can control 128 DMX universes. It is based on a concept of simplicity, for intuitive and fast programming, thanks to its straightforward and comprehensible interface using an integrated trackball and two 12.1", high-resolution touch-screens with motorized tilting up to 90°.
France Posts Three New Orders for Meyer Sound LEOPARD & 900-LFC
Following a convincing recent demo in Paris, Meyer Sound has confirmed three new orders for the LEOPARD™ linear sound reinforcement system, including two French rental system purchases and an installation going to a nightclub in Marseille. The patent-pending LEOPARD line array loudspeaker and its accompanying 900-LFC low-frequency control element are the newest, smallest, most versatile members of Meyer Sound's flagship LEO® Family.
Ayrton CosmoPix-R, new application and programming ideas

Adamson Appoints Jasper Ravesteijn as European Sales Manager
Netherland-based Jasper Ravesteijn has been named European sales manager for Adamson Systems Engineering. He will work with Jochen Sommer, director of European operations for Adamson, to manage sales and support for new and existing customers in Europe, Russia and Africa.
ChamSys MQ80 – longer and wider for added pleasure
Chamsys presents their latest lighting console, the MQ80, an evolution of the MQ60 that allows the user to work more comfortably and with a more powerful processor that can control 24 DMX universes. One can see at first glance that the screen size has been increased for better legibility. Its quality has also been improved, with an increase in the viewing angle and in luminosity.
Yamaha TF Series, digital consoles for small budgets
Yamaha continues to expand its range of digital consoles to accommodate lower budgets, with the introduction of the TF Series, which follows the CL and the QL Series. Also exhibited on the stand of the Japanese manufacturer was the PM10 Rivage digital mixing system – the flagship of the brand (see SLU) – and RSiO64-D, a rack of mini-YGDAI cards for inputs and outputs that accepts more than 30 types of cards .
RCF HDL50-A, a new amplified system
Numerous new products were presented by RCF at this edition of Prolight + Sound: a new 3-way, amplified line array system, HDL 50-A; an addition to the TT series, the TTL6-A amplified enclosure; the new stage monitors ST 12-SMA and ST 15-SMA; and finally, a series of small rack-mount digital mixing systems including the M08 and M18.
