Worldwide: Controversial popstress Miley Cyrus is performing her hit world tour ‘Bangerz’ under the super sharp, vibrantly coloured beams of the Clay Paky Sharpy and Sharpy Wash 330. Fast becoming one of the most talked about touring shows in recent history, Bangerz features everything from giant tongue slides to flying hot dogs. Lighting designer Rob Sinclair, who has worked with Peter Gabriel, Queen, Pet Shop Boys and may others, collaborated with award winning show designer Ez Devlin to create the show’s unique look.

By associating with the biggest French-language album seller of the year for his sold-out tour, Paul Chappet, the lighting designer, left his favourite stomping ground, the clubs, to accompany the bouncy Belgian on a major world tour with customised lighting design. And as both the Pauls (a beautiful name also borne by Stromae) have known each other since the artist's first tour, the lighting of which was done by the young lighting designer, they share the Paris Zenith stage with full confidence and complicity, one filling it with his incredible presence and the other dressing it up with beautiful floodlights in their element, appropriate for the show, completely new and electric.

Osram HMI UVS with UV stop system
The lighting expert Osram is now offering a new generation of metal halide lamps. These lamps have often been the light sources of choice for film work and events. The new Osram HMI UV stop (UVS) lamps reduce ultraviolet emissions, in this case UVB and UVC emissions, up to 99.9 percent without suffering any loss of light output or color rendering which is close to that of natural daylight.

Elevation Church, based in Matthews, North Carolina, added Clay Paky A.leda B-EYE K20 LED-based moving lights to the extensive roster of AV equipment it used for a series of Easter worship experiences this year. Main Light Industries, Inc. in Wilmington, Delaware supplied Elevation Church with 35 B-EYEs for the Easter worship experiences, five for its primary broadcast location and 30 shared among nine other satellite locations.

NEXO STM reaches new heights at Austria’s Top of the Mountain concert
