Launched in 2019, the young brand Roxx, specializing in fixed LED lighting solutions for live performance and installation, unveils three new Fresnel-type spotlights featuring the very latest control technologies and built with robustness in mind.

These three new products, named Icon F4, F6 and F8, are respectively equipped with 200 W, 400 W and 800 W LED engines, placing them in direct competition with traditional 300 W, 1 kW and 2 kW sources.
To offer an extremely wide color palette as well as a very high level of color rendering fidelity, this series adopts RGB + Amber + Lime + Cyan light sources.
The results speak for themselves: with a CRI of 98, a TLCI of 99 and a TM-30 score of 95, these fixtures rank among the very best currently available on the market.
To ensure maximum flexibility in use, the F series software integrates 18-bit color dimming and dimmer control for ultra-smooth transitions.
When it comes to build quality and handling, it’s clear that the German brand’s development teams have not compromised on quality.

All fixtures are IP65 rated, and the user-handled elements have been carefully thought out and well designed: zoom adjustment, for example, is carried out using a discreet 720° rotary knob to ensure precise focusing, with the setting directly visible in terms of beam angle thanks to an indicator.
The yoke and accessories can be mounted and removed quickly, with no difficulty and without the need for tools. As for accessories, each fixture is supplied as standard with a removable barndoor module, with each leaf adjustable in both opening and rotation. The smaller Icon F4 will also be available with an optional track-mount adapter through which power can be routed.

With user experience at the heart of the development of this range, the manufacturer has ensured that the Icon control interface is intuitive and modern. In addition to the screen-based functions, technicians benefit from NFC configuration and optional LumenRadio CRMX wireless control.
Looking ahead to future developments, Roxx engineers decided to include a KLSTR module on the DMX line of these products to further optimize addressing and the reliability of connections between fixtures (up to 100 fixtures per line, with distances of up to 400 m between each unit!).
The Icon series will be available from mid-March. Public prices are €1,940 excl. VAT and €2,400 excl. VAT for the F6 and F8 models respectively. As the F4 is still in development, pricing information is not yet available.
KLSTR – what is it?
KLSTR is a hardware and software technology for the professional lighting industry that makes the configuration, connection and control of lighting installations and fixtures much faster and easier. Instead of manually configuring each fixture and each address, KLSTR automatically detects all connected devices, generates a visual topology of the wiring, allows product IDs to be assigned, enables fast addressing, and imports configuration files (such as MVR/GDTF) so the system can be up and running in just a few clicks.
It works both with current and legacy DMX/RDM systems using traditional cabling and connectors (KLSTR.nano module, also compatible for retrofitting) and with modern Ethernet networks (with KLSTR.one), while offering real-time diagnostics, redundancy and easy maintenance via the free KLSTR.ctrl application.
