JB Lighting Licon 2X, a complete and intuitive lighting console
JB Lighting presents the Licon 2X lighting console. Developed primarily for live applications, it can control 128 DMX universes. It is based on a concept of simplicity, for intuitive and fast programming, thanks to its straightforward and comprehensible interface using an integrated trackball and two 12.1", high-resolution touch-screens with motorized tilting up to 90°.
France Posts Three New Orders for Meyer Sound LEOPARD & 900-LFC
Following a convincing recent demo in Paris, Meyer Sound has confirmed three new orders for the LEOPARD™ linear sound reinforcement system, including two French rental system purchases and an installation going to a nightclub in Marseille. The patent-pending LEOPARD line array loudspeaker and its accompanying 900-LFC low-frequency control element are the newest, smallest, most versatile members of Meyer Sound's flagship LEO® Family.
Ayrton CosmoPix-R, new application and programming ideas
The newly available CosmoPix-R, a small motorized globe that emits 12 punchy beams, is implemented here in a show designed by the French lighting designer Stéphane Migné and programmed by Arnaud Pierrel, which demonstrates some novel effect ideas for structuring a performance space.
Adamson Appoints Jasper Ravesteijn as European Sales Manager
Netherland-based Jasper Ravesteijn has been named European sales manager for Adamson Systems Engineering. He will work with Jochen Sommer, director of European operations for Adamson, to manage sales and support for new and existing customers in Europe, Russia and Africa.
ChamSys MQ80 – longer and wider for added pleasure
Chamsys presents their latest lighting console, the MQ80, an evolution of the MQ60 that allows the user to work more comfortably and with a more powerful processor that can control 24 DMX universes. One can see at first glance that the screen size has been increased for better legibility. Its quality has also been improved, with an increase in the viewing angle and in luminosity.
Yamaha TF Series, digital consoles for small budgets
Yamaha continues to expand its range of digital consoles to accommodate lower budgets, with the introduction of the TF Series, which follows the CL and the QL Series. Also exhibited on the stand of the Japanese manufacturer was the PM10 Rivage digital mixing system – the flagship of the brand (see SLU) – and RSiO64-D, a rack of mini-YGDAI cards for inputs and outputs that accepts more than 30 types of cards .
RCF HDL50-A, a new amplified system
Numerous new products were presented by RCF at this edition of Prolight + Sound: a new 3-way, amplified line array system, HDL 50-A; an addition to the TT series, the TTL6-A amplified enclosure; the new stage monitors ST 12-SMA and ST 15-SMA; and finally, a series of small rack-mount digital mixing systems including the M08 and M18.

Production Resource Group, L.L.C. (PRG) today announced that it has agreed to acquire the XL Video Group, one of the largest providers of premier multi-market video services. PRG Chairman & CEO Jeremiah J. Harris and Lucas Covers, the Group CEO of XL Video jointly made the announcement.

Scenius is positioned at the top of the range and employs a new 1400 W Osram arc lamp of the latest generation.
