Audio-Technica AT5040
During the last AES convention in San Francisco (October 26th to 29th) AudioTechnica introduced the serie 50, a new range of very high quality studio microphones and presented its first model the AT5040, a vocal recording cardioid condenser microphone with “four elements membrane”.
Klark Teknik DN9610
Low latency repeater (0,03 ms), the Klark Teknik DN9610 extends the operational distance of an AES50 digital audio network (Cat5e or Cat6) by 100m and carries simultaneously two AES50 streams with 24 bits at 48 or 96kHz sampling rate with the choice of selecting either one frequency for each.
Sennheiser introduces D9000 series
Very expected, the D9000 Sennheiser digital HF transmission system was introduced early september and presented at IBC and the Plasa. One of the main features is to offer two coding modes HD and LR, adapted to various conditions to give the highest audio quality in every environment.

New Advanced Technology Goes Wild for Ayrton WILDSUN
French entertainment lighting provider, New Advanced Technology (NAT), located 30km east of Paris, has just invested in no less than 375 units of Ayrton WILDSUN 500 K7 moving-heads, following several tests and comparisons with other manufacturers’ models.

Martin Professional launches the VC Series of creative LED video, the first true video products to combine a new level of simplicity with a high level of quality. Part of the series is formed by the VC-Grid 25, a small, 200 x 200 mm LED video module with a 25 mm pixel pitch.
SSE acquires ETA Sound
SSE Audio Group has announced the acquisition of ETA Sound. The company, based in Mold, Wales, has moved its operations to SSE's Redditch headquarters.
ETA owner Eddie Thomas adds another dimension to SSE's growing pro-audio operations, as SSE MD John Penn explained: "We have been talking to Eddie for a while about bringing his expertise to SSE and incorporating his complementary activities into the Group. His particular area of operation is the design and installation of large format audio and emergency evacuation installations in stadia, shopping malls and large spaces."
Ayrton on Bruce Springsteen Tour
The Wildsun 500 Ayrton began his international career on the world tour"Wrecking Ball" Bruce Springsteen & the E-Street Band's. He then traveled the world in the Jeff Ravitz’s lighting kit, the Lighting Designer of Springsteen.
Ayrton is proud to announce that more than 65 WILDSUN 500C automated LED luminaires are being used on Bruce Springsteen and the E-Street Band's "Wrecking Ball" world tour. Award winning Lighting Designer Jeff Ravitz of Intensity Advisors in Los Angeles and Morpheus Lights, the Las Vegas based lighting production company, selected the Wildsun 500C from Ayrton after extensive testing and comparisons to other automated LED fixtures.
"It's a strikingly different look for our show - the warm white baseline, vivid colors, smooth movement, and remarkable intensity of the Wildsun 500C are truly unique" says Ravitz.
The Wrecking Ball tour began in Atlanta, Georgia in mid-March and continues in European cities from mid-May through July 2012. It then returns to the US for additional Stadium shows in August and September.
Peter Johansen Acquires SGM Lighting from RCF Group
The new company, SGM A/S, which replaces the former SGM Technology for Lighting spa, will be headquartered in Aabyhøj, near Aarhus, and will concentrate exclusively on developing LED solutions, while continuing to support SGM’s current catalogue of discharge lighting.
