2026 marks the 50th anniversary of Claypaky, a lighting fixture manufacturer since 1976! This celebratory year welcomes two new compact, ultra-competitive IP66 profile fixtures to the Arolla Aqua LT range. We meet Dylan de Matteo, Product Manager, who introduces them to us at ISE 2026.
Arolla Aqua S-LT
The Arolla Aqua S-LT is now the most compact profile in the Arolla Aqua family. Measuring 63 cm in height and weighing 26 kg, it packs all the features that make it an ultra-competitive moving head in terms of weight, output and functionality. Powered by a 350 W, 6,500 K white LED engine with the same characteristics as other Arolla sources, it delivers around 21,000 lumens.
Its high-performance optical system promises excellent projections with a fully linear zoom range from 3.8° to 52°. Two gobo wheels, complemented by an animation wheel, enable pattern creation. Two 4-facet prisms (linear or circular) can be added. The fixture features CMY + CTO colour mixing (variable from 3,500 to 6,500 K) as well as a 6-colour wheel. A motorised iris is, of course, included.
For theatre, TV or front-of-house applications, the Arolla Aqua S-LT is equipped with a motorised 4-blade framing module with total curtain (a single blade can cut 100% of the beam), mounted on a rotating cassette of ±65°. Two frosts (1° and 5°) complete the beam-shaping features of this new moving head.
For even more creativity, the Arolla features infinite pan AND tilt. It can also reset without moving and is fitted with an electromechanical brake on the movement axes.
Let us recall that the “Aqua” label guarantees an IP66 protection rating.

Arolla Aqua M-LT
Claypaky also offers a 550 W LED version, the Arolla Aqua M-LT. Equipped with the same features as the S-LT (colour mixing, zoom, framing module, iris, and continuous pan & tilt rotation), this fixture is equally at home in short-, medium- and long-throw applications, delivering up to 28,000 lumens.
These fixtures, the first new products of 2026, will enter production very soon. First deliveries are scheduled for spring.
