Prolights MuseProfile 70CT+, when CRI reaches new heights!

Muse: an additive color profile fixture with outstanding CRI – Astra: two long-throw profile fixtures, HaluStrip Duo: the linear version of the Halupix and Sunrise: blinders with independent LEDs… At Prolights, a new year means new products! We explore them at their ISE 2026 booth in Barcelona, accompanied by Fabio Sorabella, the company’s Managing Director.

MuseProfile 70CT+

The major new product we discovered on the Prolights stand is the MuseProfile 70CT+. This moving head, freshly developed by the Italian R&D teams, becomes the brand’s best solution when color quality, white rendering, power, and compactness must all come together. Let’s break these points down with four numbers:

The Muse Profile70CT+ with additive colour synthesis.

• 6: The Muse uses an additive color synthesis based on six colors: RGB + Cyan + Amber + Lime. The light engine promises a wide color palette, with an optimal range spanning from deep blue at 450 nanometer to pure red at 640 nanometer.

• 99: It’s difficult to do better when the CRI comes extremely close to the maximum value. The exact measurement is 98.8 at 3200K. The best TLCI and TM30 results reach 97 and 95 respectively.

• 1000: A round number that’s easy to remember and very promising! With 1 kW of LEDs, this profile fixture has more than enough power to illuminate large spaces.

• 73: The maximum size of the fixture (in centimeters), which remains very reasonable for such power. The luminaire weighs just 34 “small” kilograms.

This product will likely become a major asset for lighting designers in live productions with broadcast capture, theatre, TV, film shoots, or any application requiring extremely high color rendering combined with substantial output.

In the foreground and background are the new Astras LTIP profiles: long-throw and IP65 rated.

AstraProfile 300 LTIP and AstraProfile 500 LTIP

What else can we find on this Prolights booth? Let’s start with two new fixtures in the Astra series: the AstraProfile 300 LTIP and AstraProfile 500 LTIP, machines designed for long-throw applications.

As each manufacturer tries to stand out with long-throw fixtures, the Italian brand offers in these models respectively 300 W and 500 W of 6500K white LEDs, delivering maximum outputs of 12,000 and 25,000 lumens(goniometer).
They feature IP65 protection and all the functions lighting designers expect: Progressive CMY + CTO color mixing, color wheel, four-blade framing module, two gobo wheels, one with rotating gobos, animation wheel, two frost filters, two prisms, Iris, Zoom range of 4°–44° (300 model) or 4°–50° (500 W version)

The HaluStrip Duo source with its distinctive light pattern.

HaluStrip Duo

Now it’s time for static fixtures. Prolights now offers a new version of its well-known Halupix in a 1-meter linear format with the HaluStrip Duo.
This 8 kg IP65 fixture is essentially an assembly of two Halustrips.
The result is a bar integrating: 14 collimated 2700K white LED sources with a 4° beam angle and 126 RGB + WW pixels. As an option, the brand offers linking and rigging accessories, providing the same modular flexibility that has also made the Halupix successful.

1200W of LED sources for this new Sunrise 4FLXFC colour blinder!

The final new product presented to us is the Sunrise 4FLX, or rather two versions of this blinder-type fixture featuring four LED engines, which can operate independently depending on the mode. It comes in two versions:
• Sunrise 4FLXVW: 4 × 300 W variable white + amber boost
• Sunrise 4FLXFC: 4 × 300 W RGB WarmWhite + Amber

They deliver 67,000 and 59,000 lumens respectively, and can be used anywhere thanks to their IP65 rating.

All these fixtures are already in production, with first deliveries expected very soon.
