We meet Eric Leroy at the ETC booth at ISE 2026 to discover the new Prime version of the compact Lonestar profile, now more powerful and IP-rated, along with the new Apex FP console and the Hog Tour Wing extension.

The Lonestar Prime

The Lonestar Profile already held an important place in the ETC catalog. This compact automated fixture from the High End Systems range, designed for small and mid-scale productions, already had strong arguments to secure a position in this highly competitive market. But what about this new version?

Un nouvel invité de choix se glisse dans le catalogue ETC avec l’arrivée du Lonestar Prime.

First, the light source. With its 350 W white LED (compared with 290 W for the standard Lonestar), it gains in brightness with 20% more output, reaching 17,000 lumens. The CRI also improves, gaining 10 points for a final score of 80.
The fixture inherits several strengths from the Halcyon series, such as the trichromatic color mixing module, which further enhances the rich palette of possible colors. The gobo selection, another strong point of that range, also strengthens the Lonestar Prime’s appeal.

We also notice some similarities with the MegaPix and GigaPix in the fixture’s base could this Lonestar still have more secrets to reveal? One of them lies in a number: 54. As you may have guessed, that’s its IP rating! The fixture can now operate in harsh environments and is no longer afraid of splashes.
This upgrade does not come with extra weight, as it keeps exactly the same 20 kg weight. Its dimensions are even slightly more compact: the footprint remains the same, while the overall height is 2 cm shorter.

Other important features include a head that can accept an optional RigPOV camera, and motors on both main axes that can be disengaged, allowing the fixture to be used as a manual followspot with an additional handle accessory. It’s worth noting that this product is not intended to replace the original Lonestar but rather to complement it, as the original model will remain in the catalog.

Les deux nouveaux accessoires (optionnels) prévus pour flouter la sortie de lumière du Dataflash 5000.

As for the Dataflash 5000, the LED strobe powerhouse packed with lumens, it now receives two new optional frosted accessories.

These output lenses allow the beam effect to be softened either partially or completely. One version features a frosted ring that keeps the center beam clear, while the other diffuses the entire beam.

A gauche, la Tour Wing reprend la partie gauche de sa voisine Tour Hog.

Hog Tour Wing

A new piece of hardware joins the Hog family: the Tour Wing. It provides an extension with 10 motorized, color-backlit faders and a control screen for all Hog consoles, replicating the left side of the Stage Hog and Tour Hog.

It features four physical outputs, and when connected to a PC running Hog PC software, it unlocks 12 DMX universes, creating a compact and comfortable control surface. The Tour Wing adapts to events of any scale from large productions, festivals, or tours, where it can complement a Tour Hog or Stage Hog, to smaller events when paired with a PC.

Apex FP

The Apex FP takes the control surface of the Apex 5 console and all the features associated with the well-known EOS software, but without a central display, allowing it to adapt to certain venue configurations.
If space is limited at the control position, or if the operator has a steep viewing angle toward the stage, a central screen can sometimes obstruct the view. For monitoring displays, you can connect two screens via the spigots provided on the chassis and position them on the sides, leaving the central view unobstructed.
This console also better meets mobility requirements.

L’Apex FP, identique à l’Apex 5, mais sans écran central. A vous de disposer les vôtres judicieusement.
