Robert Juliat is unveiling, as a world premiere, the launch of a new LED light source for the Bizet series: a brand-new light engine using 8 distinct LED colors, capable of faithfully reproducing the entire spectrum from deep red to royal blue, offering an almost perfect CRI and, above all, output power that can rival traditional 2 kW sources.
It is presented in this video, along with the new compact followspot Morgane, by Ludwig Lepage, Product Manager at Robert Juliat.

Morgane
This new followspot inherits the DNA of Tristan, sharing the same form factor (width) and the same light source, with an 825 W LED engine offering variable white from 3000 to 6300 K and delivering up to 26,000 lumens. Its length has been significantly reduced to make room for an optical block that produces a beam with an adjustable angle ranging from 13° to 24°. Although designed to meet the requirements of small and medium-sized venues, it is nonetheless extremely well equipped.

It features a motorized iris, controllable locally by the operator or via DMX, as well as full control of all functions over Ethernet (Art-Net & sACN). Numerous accessories are already available, such as a display screen or two remote wired local control boxes (with either a fader or a potentiometer).
An ingenious removable plate, positioned on top of the optics at the front of the followspot, includes multiple threaded holes and standard mounting points, making it possible to attach additional tools such as photographic equipment, intercom mounts, and much more.

The long-term operation of this fixture is fully anticipated, with the upcoming release of an additional module featuring two motorized faders and several buttons to which the operator can assign preset settings.
The presence of network ports on the body of the fixture makes it “hardware-ready,” meaning that other accessories may appear in the future rumor has it, for example, a touchscreen!
Turning to the more mechanical aspects of the unit, we can also commend the manufacturer’s performance in creating a followspot weighing only 36 kg! Nothing has been left to chance, including the yoke supporting the projector body, which is available in several versions (straight, curved, etc.) depending on the desired range of movement and the customer’s type of use. Likewise, this mounting yoke can be positioned at different points on the fixture or, alternatively, be mounted in the traditional way on a tripod or suspended.

The new Morgane is already available. The most eager visitors will be able to discover these new products at the ISE show, which will take place from February 3 to 6 in Barcelona (Fira), on the Robert Juliat stand in Hall 6, Stand C300, very close to the live stage.
