At PLASA 2026, Astera launched an accessory that transforms its QuikBeam into the QuikBeam Connect, the first product in its new Connect Series designed for permanent installations. This is achieved by fitting a QuikBeam with the TracklightAdapter, which turns it into a track-mounted lighting fixture.

Astera’s brand-new accessory allows the QuikBeam to target the permanent track-lighting market.

The TracklightAdapter integrates the power supply into the mounting module housing, eliminating visible cables. It is available in a 230 V 3-circuit track version (Eutrac, Global, Stucchi, ERCO and equivalents) or a 120 V H-Type version (Halo), in black, white or any RAL colour.

“We remove the usual bracket and battery and replace them with a wired solution,” explains Sebastian Bückle, Head of Sales and Marketing at Astera. “The product can now be wired into the tracks commonly found in trade shows, restaurants, bars, museums, hotels and even cruise ships.”

The TracklightAdapter is priced at €95 excluding VAT for users who already own QuikBeam fixtures. Installation simply involves removing a few screws, with instructions provided. The Connect retains all the features that define the QuikBeam:
• A Titan LED Engine RGBMA, with variable white from 1,750 K to 20,000 K, 20 W output and CRI ≥ 96;
• A 13° to 60° zoom;
• Wireless DMX control (CRMX) and compatibility with existing accessories;
• IP65 certification.

Launched at ISE earlier this year, the QuikBeam is a compact 1.6 kg Fresnel fixture offering output equivalent to a 200 W tungsten fixture. Deliveries are expected to begin in approximately one month.

With this new range, Astera, until now primarily established in the film and event markets, is targeting the permanent installation sector.
