Jeff Freeman dazzles “Arc de Triomphe” in Paris with SuperSharpy
At the midnight countdown, lighting designer Jeff Freeman employed Clay Paky SuperSharpys to illuminate the iconic Arc de Triomphe for the festivities. The display saw the monument spectacularly video-mapped, with Freeman using 18 of the super powerful Clay Paky fixtures, supplied by rental company Magnum, to complement the visuals.
Ayrton LEDs add highlights to Pepsi Super Bowl XLIX
The annual excitement of the Pepsi Super Bowl XLIX Halftime Show raged around the University of Phoenix stadium, Arizona on 1 February, broadcast to the world by NBC. International superstar Katy Perry headlined the much-anticipated Halftime Show supported by Lenny Kravitz and Missy Elliott. Ayrton LED fixtures played their part once more in the dynamic lighting design by Bob Barnhart of Full Flood, Inc., with the new, compact MagicRing-R1 and NandoBeam-S6 helping to wow the crowds.
SGM P-5 washes water fountains for The Circle of Light
SGM’s P-5 wash lights demonstrated their applicability as waterproof luminaires at the recent International Festival of Light in Moscow. Fountain specialist Aqua-Show was tasked with installing two lines of fountains and creating a 3D world of water for laser projection. They needed to illuminate the fountains with water reaching heights up to 30 metres, and for that they selected the powerful RGBW P-5.

Robert Juliat delivers from all angles at Chichester Festival Theatre
Robert Juliat lighting fixtures have been spotted covering all angles of the stage from front to back at Chichester Festival Theatre in recent months. The new production of Gypsy, which transfers soon to London’s Savoy Theatre, employed four Robert Juliat Le Cin’k Fresnels, each fitted with 5000W tungsten lamp bases, in Mark Henderson’s flexible lighting design. Hired from White Light for the season, these helped to cover a busy stage with multiple areas of focus, including three moving trucks.

German lighting designer Manfred ‘Vossi’ Voss used 100 x Robe BMFL Spots to light the 2014 "Ein Herz für Kinder" (A Heart for Children) show, a high profile charity fund-raiser, produced by Schwartzkopff tv staged at the new and trendy Tempelhof airport, Berlin, and broadcast live on German national public services channel, ZDF.
