Dave Grohl’s Iron Throne Powered by Ayrton MagicDot™-R

Foo Fighters front man, Dave Grohl, has famously reclaimed the stage for the band’s Sonic Highways tour, mounted on his own ‘Iron Throne’ after breaking his leg in a fall from the stage in Gothenburg in June. The throne is adorned with a corona of 12 Ayrton MagicDot™-R LED moving lights which are used by lighting designer, Dan Hadley, both as feature lighting and for illumination of the charismatic singer.

Prism Sound Launches New Additions for Titan and Atlas

The first MDIO-HDX expansion module for Prism Sound's Titan and Atlas professional multichannel USB audio interfaces will be demonstrated on the company's booth (543) at the 139th AES Convention in New York. The MDIO-HDX Pro Tools module allows multiple Titan or Atlas units to be connected directly to an AVID Pro Tools HDX or HD native system via AVID’s “Digilink” connection.

Versatile Clay Paky Mythos Fixtures Shine on Fall Out Boy Summer Tour

CORE Lighting Off The Wall

UK battery powered LED lighting manufacturer CORE Lighting recently supplied fashion and art exhibition “Off The Wall” with a fully wireless LED lighting solution. Eleven of CORE’s tiny PinPoints were used to spotlight the individual artefacts including paintings, sculptures, head pieces and gowns.

L-Acoustics serves up superb sound at Le Volcan, Scène nationale du Havre

Clay Paky Mythos fixtures have illuminated the Costanera Tower, the highest skyscraper in Latin America, with a fantastic light show to celebrate each match in the Copa América 2015 football tournament. Mythos were part of a lighting design by Toni Amoros, who also lit the tournament’s opening ceremony.

Multiple Nexo Line Arrays For One 360° Stage In Mexico

September 15 is one of the most important dates in the Mexican calendar; this year, it marked the 205th Independence Day for the country, with celebrations in the Zócalo public square in Mexico City. Multiple NEXO line array systems were deployed around a special 4-sided concert stage, with the full sound reinforcement specification running to 436 NEXO cabinets in total.
