Text & Photos: Jérôme Boutié – Video: Allison Cussigh

Ayrton unveiled at ISE 2026 the prototype of the RawBeam 350, a compact and highly versatile moving head featuring laser technology and IP65 protection. We also discovered the Nando 1202 Wash, as well as an impressive laser beam fixture: the Naja. Alain René Lantelme, Deputy Managing Director at Axente, presented the products to us.

Le voici, le RawBeam 350 qui devrait potentiellement faire sensation !

RawBeam 350

Small, lightweight, powerful, linear zoom, spot, beam, laser… Bringing together all these technical features is more than enough to catch the attention of any lighting designer! This is precisely the promise Ayrton makes with the RawBeam 350, a brand new fixture developed by their R&D team.

Closely matching the relatively compact dimensions of a Stradale, this new fixture is capable of producing ultra-narrow beam effects with a 1.2° aperture as well as wide gobo projections up to 42°, while delivering fully linear transitions without relying on separate zoom ranges dedicated to specific beam types resulting in seamless visual continuity between any kind of beam.

The fixture is powered by a 350 W white phosphor laser source delivering up to 1,200,000 lux at 10 m. Among other specifications shared by the manufacturer, the unit features infinite pan and tilt, CMY color mixing, two gobo wheels (one with rotating gobos), prisms, two frost filters (1° and 5°), and IP65 protection. This new moving head, which seems to have everything going for it, will be available from Q2 2025.

Nando 1202 Wash

We also discovered the Nando 1202 Wash, the “big brother” of the Nando 502 Wash, sharing most of its features in a larger, more powerful format.
This multi-source RGBL wash moving head is announced to deliver up to 25,000 lumens and features an additional LED ring compared to the 502 version.
In short, its key selling points are: excellent color quality and high output power.

Le Naja, qui pour les plus avertis d’entre vous s’est brièvement appelé “Cobra Révolution”.

Naja

Finally, we were introduced to the Naja concept. This fixture is a beautifully designed moving head with proportions similar to the Rivale. It has been specifically designed to create a powerful and incisive beam of light in space.

Its laser source, focused through a large 200 mm front lens and an optical block with a 0.6°–21° zoom range, produces an impressive 1,840,000 lux beam at 10 m. No fewer than 92 gobos, CMY color mixing with color wheels, as well as two layers of three prisms are integrated into the Naja, which of course benefits from IP65 protection and continuous PAN and TILT functions. All of this is housed in a 31.5 kg body.
