The Danish brand unveils the MAC One Beam, a compact moving head featuring a laser light source, the MAC Encore in its Two version with significantly increased output, and Macula, a remote followspot control system. Wouter Verlinden, Product Manager for Lighting, introduces these new products presented on Martin’s booth at ISE.

With the MAC One Beam, Martin marks its entry into laser lighting technology. The compact internal module, called LILI (“Laser Illuminated Lighting Instrument”), generates a white beam which, combined with the optical system, produces an almost parallel beam with only a 0.4° aperture and an intensity of 7,000,000 candelas.

To color this light shaft, the MAC One Beam features an ultra-fast CMY subtractive color mixing system, fully compatible with P3 pixel video applications.
To further enhance its creative capabilities, the One Beam houses 24 RGB LEDs behind its 120 mm front lens, arranged in a circular pattern around the housing to create deep, original Aura effects.

This new fixture shares the same compact form factor as the MAC One Wash, weighing under 5 kg and offering full compatibility with the same accessories. Already in production, the first units will be delivered in early March, and its price will be increased by 25% compared to the wash version.

MAC Encore Two

In 2017, Martin introduced the MAC Encore. 2026 marks the arrival of the MAC Encore Two, a redesigned version offering even greater performance. Its 760 W LED engine at 5,600 K delivers a 75% increase in output compared to its predecessor.

Designed to meet the needs of the most demanding users in theatre and broadcast environments, Martin promises CRI, TLCI and TM-30 values above 90, reaching up to 95 when using an additional filter. The redesigned CMY color mixing system ensures superb color rendering, including accurate yellows and ambers.

It features an additional gobo wheel, a dual frost system usable across the entire zoom range, and of course a motorized framing module. The MAC Encore Two is already available for delivery.

Macula

We conclude this overview of new products with Macula, Martin’s first remote followspot control system. Developed by a Danish rental company and later acquired exclusively by Martin, this system’s main advantage is its compatibility with all fixtures on the market, not only Martin products.

The user base is equipped with high-resolution encoders, a large display screen and ergonomic handles. The system is compatible with the open PosiStageNet protocol for real-time 3D positioning data transmission. It can of course control multiple fixtures from a single console and can be connected to a DMX console or used standalone.
