APG hires two new engineers

APG, the French manufacturer of high end professional loudspeakers and inventor of the modular line array, is pleased to announce that it has hired two new engineers, thus reinforcing its core business. The announcement is in line with the objectives set by the company when it joined forces with Active Audio in April 2016.

ETC introduces Enrico Nobile as new rigging sales manager

ETC has appointed Enrico Nobile as European rigging sales manager, a new position devised by the company to fuel the growth and development of its rigging division in Europe. Nobile will be based out of ETC’s Rome office, with much of his time spent in the sales territories of ETC GmbH and ETC Ltd, working in collaboration with distributors, dealers and integrators.

For this year’s Eurovision Song Contest finals in Sweden’s capital city of Stockholm, a major lighting scheme was in the works. The venue for the ESC finals, the Ericsson Globe Arena, is the world’s largest hemispherical building. It’s dome has a diameter of 110 m/360 feet, and to light the dome only, 200 P-5 LED fixtures from SGM were installed.

New audio dimension to Berlin Waldbühne thanks to L-Acoustic’s L-ISA

On Saturday 2nd July, L-ISA live was deployed by Soundhouse at Berlin Waldbühne for Disney in Concert, a show featuring the most famous Disney film melodies performed by the German Symphony Orchestra Berlin. L-ISA live is the latest technology from L-Acoustics founder Christian Heil, a breakthrough in sound reinforcement technology that offers an immersive experience of ultra-realistic localizations and provides a true connection between the seen and the heard, ultimately suppressing the sense of loudspeakers and delivering natural sound.

Ayrton wins Live Design Award with MagicDot-R
