The Altimate VisionSuite user interface, announced in early 2025, which allows real-time supervision of the loads applied to VisionCell load cells as well as the configuration of acceptable upper and lower limits, is now fully operational and particularly intuitive.
The heart of the system, the VisionConnect rack, ensures wireless (RF) or wired data transmission between the VisionCell load cells and Altimotion, the range of digital controllers for scenic lifting motors. The VisionSuite 2.0 monitoring interface offers new control capabilities via the web application.
Bilel Hammami, software development engineer at Altimate, details the latest features of this load monitoring platform:
Remote configuration of load cells
Remote configuration makes it possible to modify the following parameters:
– Alert thresholds for maximum (overload) and minimum (underload) loads
– Activation or deactivation of visual alerts
– Communication mode selection: RS485 (wired) or RF (wireless)

Firmware updates (VisionCell load cells and VisionConnect receiver)
The Vision Setting platform enables online firmware updates for load cells or system components directly. For example, simply uploading the firmware file via the interface allows a group of load cells to be updated simultaneously, regardless of the hardware configuration or operating system.

Comprehensive activity history
The interface includes a detailed archive section (“logs”) that records all actions performed on the load cells. This includes configurations, load cell statuses, groups, alerts (visual and load-related), battery level, and radio signal strength. This history can be viewed by date and time and downloaded in CSV or JSON format for in-depth analysis.

In the future, the goal is to integrate firmware updates for the entire product range—load cells, digital controllers, and other measurement components/sensors such as altimetry or anemometry—directly into the platform.
Altimate will be exhibiting at ISE 2026 in Barcelona, stand 8E880.
